The Board of Directors has been working hard during the first quarter of 2018! Among other things, the board has: coordinated MCLE programs on January 27th (the 12th Annual Review of 9th Circuit Decisions), February 24th (Financial Elder Abuse), and March 17th (Student Loan Dischargeability); donated $1,500 to the 7th Annual Leslie Cohen Law 5K (now the 310K run/walk powered by Leslie Cohen Law) benefi ting Public Counsel’s Debtor Assistance Project; started planning the 2018 Calvin Ashland Awards Dinner; and published two newsletters! Future MCLE programs include: April 28th (Meet the Chapter 7 Trustees) and July 21st (Fifth Annual James T. King Bankruptcy Symposium: Ethics and Getting Paid). Many thanks to cdcbaa’s Board members for their dedication and hard work!
